Treehouse Storm Cookies!


Alison's Adventures is called the "female Indiana Jones". She travels the world and the oceans to fight environmental pollution and to raise awareness. This episode features: During a slight break in the storm, I made cookies for friends and family to help fuel cleanup!!!! Here is the recipe: Ingredients • 2 ¼ cups gluten-free flour (optional: swap up to 1 cup for spelt flour for added texture) • 1 tsp baking soda • ½ tsp salt • ¾ cup coconut oil (or butter), softened • ¾ cup brown sugar • ¼ cup sugar (or honey) • 2 eggs • 2 tsp vanilla extract • 1½–2 cups chocolate chips Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) 2. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt 3. In another bowl, mix coconut oil + sugars until smooth 4. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well 5. Combine wet and dry ingredients 6. Fold in chocolate chips 7. Scoop onto baking sheet 8. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden on edges Yield • 24–30 cookies
