This is a long requested video from you guys and I hope some tips are helpful for you. 12 Tips: 00:37 DO NOT EAT 2 TO 3 HOURS BEFORE the digestion needs a lot of energy especially when you eat heavy meals. 00:59 DO IT AFTER WAKING UP before you eat breakfast and get filled with news. you will be more relaxed. 01:27 STAY HEALTHY eat fresh food and cook at home. drink a lot of water. not too much salt and sugar. less alcohol. 01:44 FITNESS IN GENERALyou feel more powerful and fit. automatically you are more happy, focused on yourself and strong. I do a lot of homeworkouts with Pamela Reif. !! MEDITATION you will be more relaxed and focused on yourself. 02:36 USE A DIVING MASK your nose sense is covered. and especially for the pressure equalization (no googles). 03.25 SINGING OR BREATH INSTRUMENTS it helps you to use your diaphragm and also control of your air and the preparation. 03:51 WET SUIT it will keep your body warm. you won't loose energy for that. 04:32 WEIGHT BELT not loosing energy by keeping your body down. you wont float up. but careful of the weight. you need to come up and be able to have the energy for that. 05:39 MAMMALIAN DIVING REFLEX put water on your face to slow down your heart rate 10 to 20% . the diving reflex is exhibited strongly in aquatic mammals, such as seals, otters, dolphins, and muskrats and exists as a lesser response in other animals including adult humans, babies up to 6 month, diving birds such as ducks and penguins. 06:02 STATIC SURFACE BREATH HOLD by not moving your body you need pretty much no extra energy. 06:26 SWIM TO THE BOTTOM OF THE POOL your lungs get smaller but you won't float up so much cause of the buoyancy. 07:10 INFORM YOURSELF in books, on social media, through professionals or just simply in a course.
